Hello, it’s good to see you again! Apologies for being quiet recently, we have been busy developing new functionality in Centrik.
After lockdown, we decided it was important that we reconnect with you and enhance our customer communication.
First and foremost we aim to improve communicating change in an informative yet concise way, starting with our new style of Release Notes.
Future Release Notes will now be documented and communicated on a more frequent basis and will all follow the same format.
For any substantial system changes to existing modules or completely new functionality there will be an overview providing oversight of the change. This will address What is new, it will explain Why are we doing this, it will detail Who will be affected by this change and most importantly it will demonstrate How to use the new functionality.
There are two areas that we are most excited about, first is the creation of a Frequently Asked Questions area. The purpose of this is to help answer any immediate questions that you or your team might have regarding this change and how it might affect you and your organisation.
Secondly, ‘How to’ guidance will now take the form of a video. A weblink will be provided within the specific Release Note overview page, directing you to our Centrik YouTube channel so that it can be viewed as required.
Smaller enhancements like terminology amendments, additional sign-off buttons or changes in colourisation will follow the same format as any large-scale changes but will not include a ‘How to’ video guide.
