Overview
In order to accurately forecast when Maintenance Items will fall due within CAMP, the CAMP integration includes the ability to push Aircraft Totals at the end of every sector. If this is enabled, there is no manual action required, instead the aircraft totals view within CAMP will remain up to date with the totals within Tech Log.
Note that this feature is disabled by default so as to not impact existing aircraft while the Tech Log application is being phased in. Please Contact Support to have it enabled for you.
Additionally, please note that when this is enabled (or in some cases, when the integration is first established), CAMP will often lock out users from manually editing the aircraft totals within CAMP's user interface. This is not something that TrustFlight has any control over, and so should you encounter this problem, please contact CAMP Support directly after disabling the feature, or integration, with us. Entering values into the aircraft totals in CAMP without disabling this feature will cause the values to be overwritten by Tech Log after the next sector.
Submitted Totals
Tech Log will submit Hours and Cycles for the Airframe, each Engine, and the APU (if fitted). Each submission will be dated at the end of the last flight completed by the aircraft.
Note that Tech Log does not store the serial number of e.g. the Engines and APU, and so it will simply submit the totals without verifying the serial numbers. Should an Engine or APU change take place, please update the component serial number within CAMP at the same time as altering the totals within Tech Log to ensure that the totals are attributed to the correct serial number.
