This guide will take you through the process of completing the Fuel Uplift section of the preflight phase within the app.
1. Initial fuel is taken from the previous trip and carried forward. The "+ Add Uplift" opens up the Fuel Uplift page.
2. The Fuel Uplift page allows various fields to be filled out and calculations made automatically to speed up the process. Fuel weight can be in KG or LBS, which is set by the operator on each aircraft.
3. Enter the total fuel required in the Planned Fuel After Uplift box. In the example shown we have used 2200kg departure fuel. Note: underneath the input box it states current fuel on board to aid calculations.
4. If you enter an amount which is less than the current fuel on board, the system has a validation to prevent you from proceeding and will provide a red warning.
5. Next is Bowser Uplift, which can be in Litres or USG. Underneath the input box it calculates the fuel uplift required in litres/USG to match the desired departure total.
6. The system defaults to a specific gravity of 0.800 This can be changed as per your requirement. Changing the SG will recalculate the actual uplift figure
7. You now have the option to upload any attachments. This can be fuel chits, cash/card receipts or anything relevant to this section.
8. Finally, underneath this you can optionally add fuel price, currency and whether or not a payment has been made. Once you're happy, tap Done in the top right corner.
9. This will then return you to the Preflight page.
