Overview:

During March 2025, Centrik releases delivered key enhancements focused on transparency, integration, and interface refinement. A new Change Log View introduces audit-style visibility into data changes across the system, allowing users to see who made a change, when, and what was altered—with powerful filtering and search capabilities. This feature is currently in beta and will be rolled out more widely in the coming weeks.

Expanded integrations further enhance operational workflows. Centrik now connects with AIMS Flight Operations, surfacing crew qualification data to support planning and rostering activities. In addition, a new integration with Talon ETA enables analysts to link safety reports directly to associated training flights, improving context and traceability.

Centrik 5 also benefits from a range of UI improvements, including enhanced dark mode across modules, clearer action lists, and updated compliance screens for a more intuitive and consistent user experience.

Finally, this release includes extensive bug fixes addressing usability, security, and performance issues across reporting, document management, audit workflows, access control, and mobile responsiveness—continuing to strengthen Centrik’s stability and reliability.

What's New

1. Change Logging (Beta)

Centrik 5 has been enhanced to surface logs showing data changes made within the system. Each logged change captures the user responsible, the date and time, and the nature of the change.

The new change log view includes ability to filter logs by date and search for fields or values.

We’re currently beta testing this feature and will be rolling out across all customers over the coming weeks.

2. AIMS Integration

Centrik now integrates with AIMS Flight Operations solutions. Crew qualification currency from Centrik’s training module is surfaced within AIMS to support crew planning, scheduling and rostering functions.

3. Talon ETA Flight Data Integration

Centrik now integrates with Talon System’s ETA Flight Training Management System. Safety analysts assessing safety reports have the ability to search for the associated flight - based on aircraft, date, instructor and other attributes - and then link the report to the flight.

4. Centrik 5 - General UI Improvements

We’ve refined Centrik 5’s UI across the system, including:

• Dark mode enhancements across training, risk and workflow modules

• Improved compliance screens

• Clearer actions lists

Bug Fixes

• CEN-30117 - Fixed an issue causing inconsistent display of fields within the Classify and Investigate phases in reports. This ensures fields no longer appear missing, duplicated, or incorrectly formatted, improving data presentation and user experience.

• CEN-30106: We've fixed an issue that was causing an error when searching for a term in the document search bar. Now, the search function works as expected, displaying items containing the searched term.

• CEN-30089 - Restored access to the Document Type Structure page for Centrik Support users. This change does not affect the existing access to the page

• CEN-30075 - Improved performance of the Contacts module on mobile devices, addressing lag issues when scrolling.

• CEN-30061 - Resolved an issue in the new case filter functionality to clarify the previously ambiguous filter ranges.

• CEN-30055 - Add custom sort functionality to filter panel options on the safety case list

• CEN-30052 - Fixed an issue where users could see findings from all subsystems in the Compliance module's overview, even if they didn't have access rights to those subsystems. Users will now only see findings for subsystems they have permission to access, enhancing data privacy and security.

• CEN-30041 - Fixed an issue where HTML tags were appearing in the PDF output of meeting minutes. The PDF download now correctly renders formatted text without displaying raw HTML tags, improving readability and professional appearance of meeting documentation.

• CEN-30037 - Fixed an issue in the Offline Reporting feature where the Fatigue Form Section unexpectedly appeared after submitting a report, despite "Is Fatigue Related" being set to "No". This update ensures that the Fatigue Form Section remains hidden after submission when fatigue is not indicated, maintaining consistency between the form compilation and submission stages.

• CEN-30033 - Fixed an issue where users encountered an error when attempting to open risk assessments which use a specific configuration of a risk matrix.

• CEN-30025 - Ensure that the “settings” button navigates to the correct Document Type when the Document Type is set to show children as columns.

• CEN-30020 - The Change Log button has been removed from the Paginated Contacts page, addressing an issue where it appeared incorrectly and didn't function as expected. This update ensures the Change Log button only appears within individual contact objects when the feature flag is enabled, improving the overall user experience and functionality of the Contacts module.

• CEN-30013 - Fixed an issue where switching safety subsystems sometimes displayed incorrect category columns on the case list

• CEN-30002 - Ensure that the button which allows Document Types to be added cannot be used at the root Document Type level. Please contact Centrik Support for assistance.

• CEN-29985 - Ensure that Document Types cannot be added at the root document type level.

• CEN-29984 - We have fixed an issue where users with "View" permissions for forms and dashboards were incorrectly able to submit new forms, instead of only being able to view form history. Now users with "View" permissions can only access form history as intended and can no longer submit new forms

• CEN-29974 - We have streamlined the user interface for creating standard courses by removing an unused button that was causing confusion.

• CEN-29965 - The module dashboard View has been updated to respect organization-specific data visibility. Users will now only see dashboard numbers and module summaries related to their own organization, enhancing data privacy and relevance for multi-organization environments.

• CEN-29963 - Fixed an issue where the checklist contents would jump unexpectedly when editing and saving content sections. Users can now edit and save large content lists without losing their position on the page, improving the overall user experience.

• CEN-29960 - The login functionality when filing an external report has been disabled to align with V4 functionality. This change removes the non-functional login option, improving user experience for external report viewers.

• CEN-29959 - Fixed an issue where the breadcrumbs would overlap with the phase tracker button when on smaller screens. This helps to improves readability on smaller devices.

• CEN-29955 - Fixed incorrect and incomplete hover text for access rights in the Contact's access right section, providing complete information to users.

• CEN-29953 - Fixed an issue related to Checklist attachments in Audits

• CEN-29950 - We've updated the "Find Crew" field name on the Training Dashboard to better align with the subsystem terminology.

• CEN-29943 - We have fixed the issue where users were unable to access actions in the Act phase of a safety report. Users can now successfully access actions in the Act phase as expected.

• CEN-29907 - Fixed comments on equipment detail pages causing errors under some circumstances

• CEN-29905 - Added extra space after colons in the filter summary on the case list page to improve readability

• CEN-29891 - Improved the functionality of the sort field on the case list for all data entries. Fixed a bug affecting group header terminology and the phase sort feature.

• CEN-29882 - Improved document viewing by fixing an issue that prevented users from scrolling through long text documents on the View Documents page.

• CEN-29868 - Fixed an issue where a user was unable to open the "Reason" popup on the My Documents to Read page

• CEN-29863 - We have fixed an issue where users with "Manage Meeting" access right were unable to view actions for certain meetings. Now users with "Manage Meeting" access right can now properly view actions for all relevant meetings as expected

• CEN-29861 - Fixed an issue where the user couldn't see all the options in dashboard settings when the list exceeds the window size

• CEN-29859 - We’ve fixed an issue where users were able to paste images into rich text editors, causing PDF downloads to contain code. Now, the downloaded PDFs will only contain the intended Audit report.

• CEN-29850 - We've updated the phase headings in the table on the case list for better clarity, removing the "case" prefix for a cleaner user experience in line with previous versions of the page.

• CEN-29839 - Resolved an issue where a notification would incorrectly direct users to the "My Downloads" page when the async download feature is disabled. The notification will now correctly indicate that the download is starting.

• CEN-29826 - Fixed a visual issue in the Documents Module where the reminder confirmation bar was not displaying correctly in Dark Mode. The background color of the confirmation bar has been adjusted to ensure better visibility and readability of the confirmation text when using Dark Mode.

• CEN-29818 - Fixed an issue where section headings in meeting agendas were being duplicated as agenda items. This update ensures that section headings are now displayed correctly, appearing only as distinct headings and not as separate agenda items.

• CEN-29817 - Resolved an issue where incorrect validation information relating to a 3rd party integration was displayed in offline mode. This fix ensures only appropriate validation messages are presented to the user when attempting to submit a safety report in offline mode.

• CEN-29816 - We've updated links on regulations charts to ensure correct navigation.

• CEN-29812 - We've addressed an inconsistency in the dark mode appearance of the navigation menu. Previously, when the navigation menu was collapsed and contained a long list of subsystems, the scroll bar would appear in light mode, conflicting with the dark mode theme. This update ensures that the scroll bar in the navigation menu now correctly reflects the dark mode colour scheme, providing a more cohesive and visually consistent user experience.

• CEN-29811 - Fixed a visual inconsistency in the Meetings module where the scroll bar in the "Previous Meeting" pop-up appeared in light mode when the rest of the interface was in dark mode. This update ensures that all scroll bars now consistently match the selected theme, providing a more cohesive user experience in dark mode.

• CEN-29810 - Fixed an issue in the Meetings Module where user was not able to access subsystems containing a meeting they had been invited to. Users can now see meetings they are attending or owning across all subsystems, even if they don't have direct access to those subsystems, improving visibility and accessibility of their scheduled meetings.

• CEN-29797 - We've resolved an issue that was affecting form usability in the app, including scrolling and content loading problems. The update ensures consistent form content in both online and offline modes.

• CEN-29796 - Fixed an issue where a user was unable to enter a reason for enabling/disabling a feature on the dedicated Feature Configuration page. Clients should be unaffected.

• CEN-29795 - Resolved an issue where users were encountering an "access denied" error when attempting to clone existing regulations, regardless of their permissions. Users should now be able to clone regulations based on their given permissions.

• CEN-29788 - We have fixed the error when a user attempts to download PDF's from the Case classify phase of a safety case. PDFs downloaded from the Case Classify phase now generate correctly without error messages.

• CEN-29782 - Fixed an issue where custom terminology configured in the Quality module was not consistently applied throughout the dashboard. The system now correctly displays user-defined terms (e.g., "Audit" instead of "Inspection") across all relevant areas of the dashboard, ensuring a cohesive and personalized user experience.

• CEN-29766 - We have fixed the Audit Content PDF so that all audit content is fully captured and included in the downloaded PDF.

• CEN-29744 - The terminology when saving a form as a draft has been updated for clarity. Users will now see the configured term instead of "Report Saved (Draft)" in the pop-up window, accurately reflecting their configuration.

• CEN-29725 - Resolved aircrafts in configuration throwing an exception due to form data

• CEN-29723 - Ensure consistency between the counters and list of actions for a regulation item on the regs list page. Perf improvement to loading the counter for action & only load if required.

• CEN-29689 - Resolved an issue where the "Fatigue report form" section was visible regardless of the "Is Fatigue Related?" toggle selection in the mobile app.

• CEN-29685 - We have resolved an issue where the heading specified in the Check Sheets for Third Party Audits was not appearing in the generated PDF. Clients should now see the correct heading displayed in the PDF when exporting check sheets.

• CEN-29667 - We've addressed an issue where the Checklist History in the Quality/Compliance module colours were not showing. The Legend and History graphs should now display their respective colours as expected.

• CEN-29660 - Fixed visibility issue in Dark Mode for the "How it Works" section on the RegisterMobilePhone.aspx page. Users can now clearly read the text in this section when Dark Mode is enabled, improving accessibility and user experience.

• CEN-29649 - We have fixed an issue where a user without correct access was able to close an action they were neither assigned to nor owned. Access controls have been corrected to ensure only authorized users can close relevant actions.

• CEN-29643 - Fixed an issue in the "My Audits" tab under internal compliance where audits were not displaying correctly. Users will no longer see a "No Audits to show" error message that was appearing despite audits being present.

• CEN-29620 - Fixed an issue where sometimes PDF reports were not being attached to emails when publishing cases. Now, PDFs will correctly attach as expected.

• CEN-29611 - We have fixed an issue where users with only "View" permissions for forms and dashboards were unable to see form history. Now users with "View" permissions can properly access form history without encountering any permission errors.

• CEN-29585 - Fixed an issue in Centrik 5 with the Top Risk Widget where users were unable to change and save the 'By' filter.

• CEN-29487 - We have fixed the Workflow section overview so that it will properly display text with carriage returns, ensuring that line breaks are correctly rendered as intended.

• CEN-29474 - We've fixed an issue where only completed audits were visible in the Ad-Hoc Audit History. Users can now view and access all open/overdue audits as expected.

• CEN-29464 - Fixes certificates not opening in Reg Apps AccessRegistryObjectDocument and ValidateRegistryObjectDocument pages since PdfJS update.

• CEN-29429 - Fixed an issue where checklist attachments were not included in PDF downloads. Now, all relevant attachments should be present in downloaded files.

• CEN-29208 - The system has been updated to ensure that deleted audit items are excluded from the count when counting the number of completed audit items in the PDF audit download. Now, the PDF audit report will accurately reflect the audit results displayed.

• CEN-29174 - Fixed the following issues in V5's dark mode:

  • Fixed an issue where the buttons in the Safety Case Delegation popup would have a bright white background in dark mode

  • Fixed an issue where the Sira diagram was unreadable in dark mode

• CEN-29171 - Fixed an issue with the Active Document counters on Document Dashboards that were displaying incorrect counts. The counters now accurately reflect the number of active documents, excluding withdrawn documents, ensuring consistency between the displayed figures and the actual number of documents in the system.

• CEN-29095 - Fixed an issue that caused changes to the PDF training check titles and file names when async downloads are enabled.

• CEN-29041 - Fixed an issue in the Equipment Planning view where an incorrect 'actionDIV' was displayed on the Maintenance Overview instead of the intended icon. This update ensures that the proper icon is now shown, improving the visual clarity and functionality of the Equipment Planning interface.

• CEN-29040 - Fixed an issue where rich text risk assessment comments were not displaying correctly within PDF reports. This enhancement improves the readability and accuracy of safety risk assessment comments in downloaded PDF documents.

• CEN-28908 - We have fixed an issue where customers were unable to open draft custom amendments. Customers can now successfully open draft custom amendments without encountering any errors.

• CEN-28873 - We have fixed the issue where users were unable to add a Form Section to a workflow, encountering an "Access Denied" page. Users with the appropriate permissions can now successfully add Form Sections to workflows without access restrictions.

• CEN-28728 - Resolved an issue where newly created 'Future' items were incorrectly displayed as 'Current' on the Compare/Review and Action pages. They will now correctly display as 'Future' with the appropriate stamp.

• CEN-28514 - Fix an issue where the some fields in the Classify Risk phase of a Safety Case may be duplicated.

• CEN-28376 - Fixed the sorting of the "Event Type" ADREP taxonomy, which was causing the Hierarchy Field to add duplicated options.

• CEN-28033 - Improved the page formatting for the "Risk Assessments" download feature. The issue causing page margins to clip information in the v5 version has been resolved, ensuring clean and clear visibility of all details.

• CEN-27905 - We have fixed an issue where users without "Include Confidential" case access were incorrectly receiving Anonymous Case Narratives. Now, only users with the appropriate confidential case access can receive Anonymous Case Narratives as intended.

• CEN-27586 - Resolved an issue where some PDF downloads of audits were displaying incorrect data in the results breakdown.

• CEN-27535 - Ensure that the status of template Checklists are not counted, when listing Due and Overdue items.

• CEN-27459 - Improved component download page for Centrik Android app.

• CEN-27335 - Added a warning message which indicates that a Postal Audit cannot be edited when it is completed.

• CEN-26752 - We have fixed an issue where the findings acceptance notification emails were not functioning correctly when the Notification Audience for Findings was set to "All Organisation" in the Quality Subsystem Configuration. The Findings Acceptance Notification now works as expected for all configured notification audiences.

• CEN-25874 - Removed invisible support role centrik users appearing in trainings 'add crew' searches.

• CEN-24262 - Changed ordering of ranks on the crew overview page to reflect setup
