Overview:
During March 2025, Centrik releases delivered key enhancements focused on transparency, integration, and interface refinement. A new Change Log View introduces audit-style visibility into data changes across the system, allowing users to see who made a change, when, and what was altered—with powerful filtering and search capabilities. This feature is currently in beta and will be rolled out more widely in the coming weeks.
Expanded integrations further enhance operational workflows. Centrik now connects with AIMS Flight Operations, surfacing crew qualification data to support planning and rostering activities. In addition, a new integration with Talon ETA enables analysts to link safety reports directly to associated training flights, improving context and traceability.
Centrik 5 also benefits from a range of UI improvements, including enhanced dark mode across modules, clearer action lists, and updated compliance screens for a more intuitive and consistent user experience.
Finally, this release includes extensive bug fixes addressing usability, security, and performance issues across reporting, document management, audit workflows, access control, and mobile responsiveness—continuing to strengthen Centrik’s stability and reliability.
What's New
1. Change Logging (Beta)
Centrik 5 has been enhanced to surface logs showing data changes made within the system. Each logged change captures the user responsible, the date and time, and the nature of the change.
The new change log view includes ability to filter logs by date and search for fields or values.
We’re currently beta testing this feature and will be rolling out across all customers over the coming weeks.
2. AIMS Integration
Centrik now integrates with AIMS Flight Operations solutions. Crew qualification currency from Centrik’s training module is surfaced within AIMS to support crew planning, scheduling and rostering functions.
3. Talon ETA Flight Data Integration
Centrik now integrates with Talon System’s ETA Flight Training Management System. Safety analysts assessing safety reports have the ability to search for the associated flight - based on aircraft, date, instructor and other attributes - and then link the report to the flight.
4. Centrik 5 - General UI Improvements
We’ve refined Centrik 5’s UI across the system, including:

CEN-30117 - Fixed an issue causing inconsistent display of fields within the Classify and Investigate phases in reports. This ensures fields no longer appear missing, duplicated, or incorrectly formatted, improving data presentation and user experience.

CEN-30106: We've fixed an issue that was causing an error when searching for a term in the document search bar. Now, the search function works as expected, displaying items containing the searched term.

CEN-30052 - Fixed an issue where users could see findings from all subsystems in the Compliance module's overview, even if they didn't have access rights to those subsystems. Users will now only see findings for subsystems they have permission to access, enhancing data privacy and security.

CEN-30041 - Fixed an issue where HTML tags were appearing in the PDF output of meeting minutes. The PDF download now correctly renders formatted text without displaying raw HTML tags, improving readability and professional appearance of meeting documentation.

CEN-30037 - Fixed an issue in the Offline Reporting feature where the Fatigue Form Section unexpectedly appeared after submitting a report, despite "Is Fatigue Related" being set to "No". This update ensures that the Fatigue Form Section remains hidden after submission when fatigue is not indicated, maintaining consistency between the form compilation and submission stages.

CEN-30020 - The Change Log button has been removed from the Paginated Contacts page, addressing an issue where it appeared incorrectly and didn't function as expected. This update ensures the Change Log button only appears within individual contact objects when the feature flag is enabled, improving the overall user experience and functionality of the Contacts module.

CEN-29984 - We have fixed an issue where users with "View" permissions for forms and dashboards were incorrectly able to submit new forms, instead of only being able to view form history. Now users with "View" permissions can only access form history as intended and can no longer submit new forms

CEN-29965 - The module dashboard View has been updated to respect organization-specific data visibility. Users will now only see dashboard numbers and module summaries related to their own organization, enhancing data privacy and relevance for multi-organization environments.

CEN-29963 - Fixed an issue where the checklist contents would jump unexpectedly when editing and saving content sections. Users can now edit and save large content lists without losing their position on the page, improving the overall user experience.

CEN-29960 - The login functionality when filing an external report has been disabled to align with V4 functionality. This change removes the non-functional login option, improving user experience for external report viewers.

CEN-29859 - We’ve fixed an issue where users were able to paste images into rich text editors, causing PDF downloads to contain code. Now, the downloaded PDFs will only contain the intended Audit report.

CEN-29850 - We've updated the phase headings in the table on the case list for better clarity, removing the "case" prefix for a cleaner user experience in line with previous versions of the page.

CEN-29839 - Resolved an issue where a notification would incorrectly direct users to the "My Downloads" page when the async download feature is disabled. The notification will now correctly indicate that the download is starting.

CEN-29826 - Fixed a visual issue in the Documents Module where the reminder confirmation bar was not displaying correctly in Dark Mode. The background color of the confirmation bar has been adjusted to ensure better visibility and readability of the confirmation text when using Dark Mode.

CEN-29818 - Fixed an issue where section headings in meeting agendas were being duplicated as agenda items. This update ensures that section headings are now displayed correctly, appearing only as distinct headings and not as separate agenda items.

CEN-29817 - Resolved an issue where incorrect validation information relating to a 3rd party integration was displayed in offline mode. This fix ensures only appropriate validation messages are presented to the user when attempting to submit a safety report in offline mode.

CEN-29812 - We've addressed an inconsistency in the dark mode appearance of the navigation menu. Previously, when the navigation menu was collapsed and contained a long list of subsystems, the scroll bar would appear in light mode, conflicting with the dark mode theme. This update ensures that the scroll bar in the navigation menu now correctly reflects the dark mode colour scheme, providing a more cohesive and visually consistent user experience.

CEN-29811 - Fixed a visual inconsistency in the Meetings module where the scroll bar in the "Previous Meeting" pop-up appeared in light mode when the rest of the interface was in dark mode. This update ensures that all scroll bars now consistently match the selected theme, providing a more cohesive user experience in dark mode.

CEN-29810 - Fixed an issue in the Meetings Module where user was not able to access subsystems containing a meeting they had been invited to. Users can now see meetings they are attending or owning across all subsystems, even if they don't have direct access to those subsystems, improving visibility and accessibility of their scheduled meetings.

CEN-29797 - We've resolved an issue that was affecting form usability in the app, including scrolling and content loading problems. The update ensures consistent form content in both online and offline modes.

CEN-29796 - Fixed an issue where a user was unable to enter a reason for enabling/disabling a feature on the dedicated Feature Configuration page. Clients should be unaffected.

CEN-29788 - We have fixed the error when a user attempts to download PDF's from the Case classify phase of a safety case. PDFs downloaded from the Case Classify phase now generate correctly without error messages.

CEN-29782 - Fixed an issue where custom terminology configured in the Quality module was not consistently applied throughout the dashboard. The system now correctly displays user-defined terms (e.g., "Audit" instead of "Inspection") across all relevant areas of the dashboard, ensuring a cohesive and personalized user experience.

CEN-29685 - We have resolved an issue where the heading specified in the Check Sheets for Third Party Audits was not appearing in the generated PDF. Clients should now see the correct heading displayed in the PDF when exporting check sheets.

CEN-29667 - We've addressed an issue where the Checklist History in the Quality/Compliance module colours were not showing. The Legend and History graphs should now display their respective colours as expected.

CEN-29660 - Fixed visibility issue in Dark Mode for the "How it Works" section on the RegisterMobilePhone.aspx page. Users can now clearly read the text in this section when Dark Mode is enabled, improving accessibility and user experience.

CEN-29649 - We have fixed an issue where a user without correct access was able to close an action they were neither assigned to nor owned. Access controls have been corrected to ensure only authorized users can close relevant actions.

CEN-29643 - Fixed an issue in the "My Audits" tab under internal compliance where audits were not displaying correctly. Users will no longer see a "No Audits to show" error message that was appearing despite audits being present.
