Overview:

This release introduces a basic permissions system in the One TrustFlight Documents module to support Beta testing.

What's New

1. System Permissions (Beta)

A basic permissions system has been introduced in the One TrustFlight Documents module to support beta testing. A more comprehensive permissions framework is currently under development and is scheduled for release in April, coinciding with our official launch. In the meantime, this temporary system is built around standard user roles and their associated permissions

Role

Resources/Permissions

All Users

This is a system role and is automatically applied to all users.

Documents Module

  • View List (all documents screen)

  • Read PDF

  • Read SmartDoc

Actions

  • View My Actions List (when user is assignee)

  • View Action Tracking List (when user is reporter)

  • View Late Readers List (when user is reporter)

  • View Details (when user is assignee or reporter)

  • Send Reminder (when user is reporter)

  • Postpone (when user is reporter)

Notifications

  • View Lists

System Admin

This is a system role which is manually assigned to users by TrustFlight.

Users Management

  • Create

  • View List

  • View Details

  • Edit

  • Delete

Role Management

  • Create

  • View List

  • View Details

  • Edit

  • Delete

Organization Unit Management

  • Create

  • View List

  • View Details

  • Edit

  • Delete

Document Manager

This role can my applied by users with the System Admin role to other users in their organization.

  • Delete (subject to deletion rules)

Documents (all documents)

  • Create PDF Document

  • View List

  • View Details

  • Edit (cannot edit SmartDoc content without editor flag)

  • Publish

  • Delete (subject to retention rules)

Document Owner

This is a property of the document which is set on either the document or document type level.

Documents (own documents only)

  • Create PDF Document

  • View Details

  • Edit (cannot edit SmartDoc content without editor flag)

  • Publish

  • Delete (subject to retention rules)

SmartDoc Editor

This is a flag which is applied per user by TrustFlight.
