Overview:
The February release of Centrik introduces Automated User Provisioning and Lifecycle Management, enabling seamless SCIM-based integration with Identity Providers (IDPs) for real-time user synchronisation, reducing administrative overhead and enhancing security. This update ensures automatic onboarding, offboarding, and role-based access management across the platform. Additionally, the release includes a broad set of bug fixes and stability improvements, addressing issues across modules such as safety reporting, audits, compliance, and workflows. Notable fixes include improved task visibility, workflow validation, UI stability, and security enhancements to ensure correct permissions for accessing and managing cases, findings, and reports. These updates strengthen Centrik’s reliability, security, and efficiency, making user management and operational workflows more seamless than ever.
What's New
1. Automated user provisioning and lifecycle management
We’re excited to introduce automated user provisioning, synchronisation, and deprovisioning in Centrik, enabling seamless user management when integrated with your organisation’s Identity Provider (IDP).
With our SCIM-based integration, users can be onboarded and offboarded automatically, ensuring access to Centrik is always in sync with your internal identity and access management systems. This eliminates the need for manual user administration, streamlining access control and improving security by ensuring that only authorised users have access.
What’s Synced?
Centrik now supports automatic synchronisation of key user attributes, ensuring that changes in your IDP are reflected in real time. This includes:

User Status – Automatically activate, deactivate, or remove users based on their status in your IDP.

Name, Email, Job Title – Keep user details accurate as they update in your organisation’s directory.

Organisation and department – Maintain up-to-date organisational structure for reporting and workflows.

Roles & Permissions – Ensure users always have the right access levels based on their assigned roles.

CEN-29734 - Improved the responsiveness of download notifications on the case list page to prevent users from thinking the download had not been initiated.

CEN-29717 - Fixed issue where too many equipment classes will cause the navigation tab overflow list to be too long

CEN-29697 - Resolved an issue that prevented users from copying and pasting excerpts from closed audit checklists. Users can now easily replicate sections into new checklists without having to re-write them.

CEN-29694 - Fixed an issue where withdrawn regulations could still be referenced in checklists.

CEN-29689 - Resolved an issue where the "Fatigue report form" section was visible regardless of the "Is Fatigue Related?" toggle selection in the mobile app.

CEN-29687 - We've fixed an issue where users were required to log in before submitting external reports. Now, external reports can be submitted without logging in.

CEN-29656 - Resolved an issue where creating an exact copy of a risk assessment was occasionally omitting scores, requiring manual correction. Now, when an exact copy is created, all scores and score colours are accurately duplicated, ensuring a true identical copy of the hazards.

CEN-29653 - Resolved an issue where meeting agendas were not being displayed in order. The 'renumber' button now correctly orders meeting agendas as expected.

CEN-29648 - Resolved an issue that was causing an error when accessing a Quality subsystem.

CEN-29640 - We've resolved an issue in Centrik V5 where crew members were unable to navigate to and sign off Line Flying Phase using the phase tracker. Crew members with "See Own Records" access can now navigate and sign off as expected.

CEN-29632 - We fixed an issue where E-IOSA checklists displayed raw HTML code in the Auditor Actions section when downloaded as a PDF. The Auditor Actions section is now correctly formatted and displayed as intended.

CEN-29627 - We've adjusted the permissions for the "Send Reminders" button on the dashboard, ensuring that only users with "Manage Documents" access can see and use this functionality.

CEN-29622 - Resolved an issue where UI text was overlapping the minutes when editing agenda items and meeting minutes. This fix enhances the readability and accessibility of the module.

CEN-29613 - We've fixed the case closeout phase so that the auto closeout popup will not appear if the safety case requires manual sign off. Now, users should be able to manually sign off and successfully close the case as expected.

CEN-29589 - We've restored the functionality allowing users to apply forms to a subsystem, which was previously available in version 4. There is no longer a need for support intervention to perform this task.

CEN-29578 - Resolved an issue that was preventing the successful publishing of MORs to ECCAIRS under specific circumstances. Users should now be able to publish cases without encountering errors.

CEN-29536 - Fixed an issue where the phase positioning in the Safety module All Cases overview was changing when enabling the new faster page mode.

CEN-29535 - Resolved an issue where some unreleased findings were prematurely appearing for users under "Act On Finding". Users will no longer see or be able to access these unreleased findings.

CEN-29532 - Resolved an issue where extended due dates on safety case closures were not accurately reflected on the "My Tasks" page. Now, all due date extensions will correctly update across all relevant pages.

CEN-29529 - Fixed an issue that was causing an error when selecting an item from a dropdown list within some workflow forms. Users can now use dropdowns without interruption.

CEN-29505 - Improved visibility and usability of the Ad-hoc audits dropdown. Users can now select any audit as required, resolving the issue where some audits were previously hidden or not selectable.

CEN-29501 - Resolved an issue where the Operation Type field in Safety was not populating as expected.

CEN-29493 - Resolved an issue where the Line Flying Phase and its sections were not accessible within a course in V5 when there is no line check present.

CEN-29484 - We've resolved an issue that allowed users without the necessary permissions to view and access findings from their personal dashboard. Now, only the items a user has the rights to view will be displayed, ensuring data security and privacy.

CEN-29483 - Fixed an issue where users without the appropriate permissions were able to submit Safety Reports. Now only those with the correct permissions can submit these reports.

CEN-29482 - We've fixed an issue where the 'Add Comments' button was duplicating in the Classify Phase of Safety Reports, you'll now see only one button as expected.

CEN-29476 - Fixed an issue that caused text fields to become unstable and the cursor to disappear when typing in some browsers, improving overall user experience in data entry fields.

CEN-29473 - Resolved an issue where incorrect validation information relating to a 3rd party integration was displayed in offline mode. This fix ensures only appropriate data is presented.

CEN-29459 - Fixed an issue where workflow actions were not visible in their respective workflow sections after creation. Workflow actions will now correctly display in the corresponding section upon creation.

CEN-29446 - Fixed an issue that was causing the 'Publish' button to become unavailable after selecting the publishing target and filling in recipient information. Now, users can successfully publish and send reports as expected.

CEN-29315 - Fixed an issue that was causing an error when selecting Assessment, Draft Assessment & Actions in the Risk Module when very large amounts of data are recorded. Users can now navigate these options without any interruptions.

CEN-29304 - Resolved an issue where users assigned to an audit-based action were unable to access the linked audit and received an "Access Denied" message. Users can now successfully view audits they are assigned to - exact system behaviour is configurable by the support team.

CEN-29288 - We have resolved an issue that prevented email notifications from being sent when comments were added to safety cases. You should now receive these notifications as expected.

CEN-28753 - Resolved an issue where certain in progress audits were not appearing in the audit list despite being visible on the user's personal status page. Users will now see all relevant audits in their list as expected.

CEN-28541 - Fixed a bug that was causing inaccurate display of total user hours in the logbook. Users should now see the correct total hours in their logbook.

CEN-28424 - Fixed audit numbering so that if the Auto-numbering protocol has any placeholders like {YYYY}, then the placeholder will get replaced with the current year.

CEN-26132 - We've fixed an issue where some organisation types were incorrectly showing up in subsystem filters, even when not enabled.

CEN-23809 - Resolved an issue where a delegated standard user without "Manage Cases" rights could close a Safety Case via the automatic pop-up upon completing a phase, even when the Case Sign-off setting was set to "Automatic, 1 Stage: SM only." Now, delegates can only close a case if the setting is "Automatic, 1 Stage: SM or Delegate," as intended.
