Adding feedback to a safety case can be vital when trying to improve the quality of the safety reports that an organisation receives.
Feedback details can be inputted via the classify phase of a safety case, this however has its limitations.
To assist organisations in improving the quality of the reports that they receive the ability to send safety report feedback when a case is closed also exists, this is a configuration option and allows the sending of emails to Reporters in the Close phase of a safety case.
The Safety Closure Feedback is a template that can be created and stored within the system, multiple templates can be created allowing an organisation to choose from depending on the required feedback. These templates can only be created by Centrik.
This additional feature means that there is a new feedback panel that appears within the Close Phase of a Safety case.
Adding Feedback
1. Click on the ‘Add Feedback’ button
2. This opens the below form
It defaults to select all users that have submitted reports related to this safety case. If I click on ‘Specific users only', it clears the list and allows me to select the users individually. Clicking the 'All who submitted a report’ again will populate with all users.
This is useful when a report has been merged, if you want to send feedback to one individual related to this report instead of all individuals.
3. The Select template dropdown list allows me to select from any active templates within the system - this also updates the Message area.
4. Select a report submitter or individual
5. Select a report group
6. Select a template type
7. The previous merge fields in {{}} - for example {{submitter name}} can be added into the message itself as it is editable, but will only be used for this particular message, it does not overwrite the stored template.
8. If you click Cancel, this will not send out any emails and collapses the form.
9. Click on the ‘Send’ button
Clicking on Send
10. For each of the reporters that have been selected, the merge fields will be populated based on the individual.
11. If successful, a green banner will appear at the top of the screen and the sent email(s) will be shown in the table. Hovering over the message column, will display the whole message that was sent. The other data recorded is when it was sent out, the Recipient and the Template that was used for the message.
12. If there were any problems sending the emails, red banner will appear at the top displaying the associated error message.
