Advanced Training Qualification Program (ATQP) / Evidence Based Training (EBT) allows you to track qualifications over a period, the default setting is 36 months. Once enabled and associated to a created check item ATQP / EBT topics can be created and then tracked within an individual’s training record.
These topics need to be created before they can be linked, ATQP items can only be created with the Manage qualifications access right or higher (Training Manager).
1. From the training subsystem landing page select the ‘Setup’ tab
2. Select the ‘ATQP Topics ‘ button
3. Click on the ‘Add Item’ button
The first part of the setup process is to create a topic, this acts like a subject heading, once a topic has been added you are able to add subheadings. It will be these topics that you can then link to check items within a qualification.
4. Under the ATQP Topic Set area enter in a Number (where it will sit) and a Title
5. Under the Applies to.. area select the checkboxes where this topic should be applied, you can also check the GS (Ground School) box if it applies in that area
6. Click on the ‘Save’ button
7. Click on ‘ > ‘ button
8. the ‘Add Item’ button
9. Input a Number and a title in the available area
10. Continue to add topics as required
11. Select the checkbox to which aircraft this applies to for each topic that’s created
12. Click on the ‘Save’ button
13. Once saved click on a topic subheading that was created in the previous step
14. Click on the ‘+ Add’ button
15. Within the Contents section, click on a newly created topic (the box will glow)
16. Click on the ‘Add’ button (as many times as is required)
17. Enter in a Topic item
18. Enter in the number of months it is valid for
19. Within the Skills area you can select which skill is applicable to which ATQP topic
20. Select which aircraft it applies to
The Renumber button can be used to allocate a numbering order to each topic.
21. Click on the ‘Save’ button
