Only applicable if a finding / non-conformance was observed.
1. To view non-conforming items, click on the ‘View Non-Conforming Items’ button
2. Any non-conformance items will require a finding associated to them, click on the ‘Add Finding’ button
3. Enter in a finding title
4. Select a severity level
5. Enter in the specific finding (if not already prepopulated)
6. Select the check box for the applicable approval type, this will ensure the finding gets directed to the correct individual within the audited organisation (completed within the adding contact stage)
7. Select the check box of the failed item / finding / non-conformance
8. Complete the Categories section (required for KPIs and trend analysis)
9. Enter in an Corrective Action Plan (CAP) by date
10. Enter in a Closure Due by date
11. Click on the ‘Save’ button
12. Click on the ‘Release’ button, this will release the non-conformance to the audited organisation
13. Click on the ‘Complete Audit’ button to complete the audit
14. Click on the ‘Audit Phase Completed’ button when all checklists have been completed
The responsible manager will receive notification of a finding and oversight of the audit, they will be able to ask for a postponement of a corrective action plan, or close date. These can only be requested.
The responsible owner is then able to submit their corrective action plan to the authority for approval.
