Linking Aircraft to Registration Marks:
After adding in Aircraft types and Aircraft the next stage of the process will provide the function for Regulators to maintain an aircraft register and manage / associate registration marks.
1. Click on the Registry module from the left side menu
2. Click on the ‘Registration Marks’ button
There is a search function available, as the list becomes more populated this will you to search for registration marks that have been added.
3. Click on the ‘+ Add Mark’ button
4. Enter in the Registration Mark in the available box
5. Click on the ‘Save’ button
If you did nothing else, then the registration mark will be added to your system but will have the status of Unused.
The next step is to assign this aircraft to an organisation.
6. Click on the ‘Add’ button to add this Registration mark, or the ‘Reserve’ button to reserve this registration mark, either method makes the registration mark unavailable for use.
7. Enter in the details regarding who the aircraft is registered to (a list of your organisations will be available, if the organisation is not available it will need to be added) alongside a date the registration mark is registered from and its registration certificate reference. Any required attachments can be added on this screen
8. Click on the ‘Save’ button
Details of the aircraft are displayed including any certificates that are attached / associated to this aircraft.
All aircraft that have been registered following this process will be displayed on the Registration Marks page via a summary view.
Once a registration mark has been added you can, if applicable quarantine the registration mark from being active.
Accessing the aircraft and clicking on the ‘Quarantine Mark’ button will restrict the registration mark from use.
Completing the start, and end date of the quarantine.
The registration mark will be quarantined, and the summary page will reflect its status.
To remove the quarantine status, you follow these steps.
1. Select the registration mark
2. Click on the ‘Type’ (Mark Quarantine) section
3. Click on the ‘Delete’ button
