Organisational Section:
Within this area you can change / amend all things organisational.
Organisation Types – Add, change, or remove the types of organisations that can be added to your site alongside the ability to create Relationships of Organisations and Aircraft
1. Click on the ‘Organisation Types’ button
The organisations currently within the system are displayed, this includes their long name, short name, and the number of those orgs on your site.
Adding a New Organisation:
1. Click on the ‘Add’ button under the Organisation Types section
2. Add in the type of organisation
3. Click on the ‘Save’ button
You are able to move the order of each organisation by clicking and holding on the six dots at the end of each row (releasing the button hold when the org is in the correct order).
You can delete / remove an org by clicking on the ‘Dustbin / Delete’ icon when the page is in edit mode (clicking on the ‘Edit’ button or clicking on a highlighted area of the screen)
Relationships (Organisation) – The ability to link organisations together, as an example an airline owns a ground handling company, they have different names, but they are all linked to the operator.
1. Click on the ‘Add’ button within Relationships (Organisational) section.
2. Enter the group name and tick the checkbox of the organisation type
3. Click on the ‘Save’ button
The next step is to link this relationship to an organisation.
1. Click on the Config module
2. Click on the ‘All-Organisations’ button
3. Click on the organisation that you wish to link or create a relationship to
4. Click on the ‘Relationships’ tab to select it
5. Click on the ‘Add’ button within the Owned by field (this is the relationship field previously created)
6. Enter in a valid from date and an until date for this organisation (you can leave the valid to date box blank), start to type the organisation in the organisation box, when a selection is recognised, you are able to select it from the available list
1. Click on the ‘Save’ button.
Relationships (Aircraft) – The ability to link aircraft to organisations.
1. Click on the ‘Add’ button within Relationships (Organisational) section.
2. Enter in a relationship name in Forward format and in Reverse, as an example for forward, Operated by XX and the Revere would be XX Operates (XX denoting the name of the organisation / company)
3. Click on the ‘Save’ button
The next step is to link this aircraft relationship to an organisation.
1. Click on the Config module
2. Click on the ‘All Organisations’ button
3. Click on the organisation that you wish to link or create a relationship to
4. Click on the Relationships tab, click on the ‘Add’ button within the aircraft section
5. Add the aircraft type in the box provided and check the box next to the organisation that it relates to
6. Click on the ‘Save’ button
Navigating back to the All-Organisations area of Config you can see the Organisation and aircraft that now have a relationship link.
