There are several ways to add in training validity dates, these are.
- Editing an individual’s Training Record
- Adding in a qualification with supporting evidence such as a license or Certificate
- Performing a check in Centrik
- Self-serve qualification upload, this option requires verification from a Training Manager before a course is validated (this is a configuration option)
Adding in a qualification with supporting evidence:
The successful completion of any type of training usually comes with a course certificate, a license or a document that provides evidence that an individual has successfully completed that training. Adding training with supportive evidence allows you to add course completion documentation, a certificate, a license etc directly into the individuals training record to support training validation.
1. Choose the individual from the currency page
The individual’s training record is displayed.
2. For the qualification in question, click on the button
3. In this example we are uploading a medical qualification, so we click on the ‘Upload Medical’ button, the naming of the button differs depending on configuration of the qualification
4. Add in the Completed On date in the available field
5. Add any comments (if required)
6. For this scenario we add in the Medical Examiner, other qualifications it will state the issuing Authority (if required)
7. Add an attachment, the medical certificate or course completion certificate
8. Click on the ‘Save’ button
Moving back to the individuals training record page this updated qualification will now have a ‘Details’ button next to the Completed-On date.
Clicking on the ‘Details’ button will provide further information regarding this qualification.
Clicking on the ‘Details’ button within this area will show you more detailed information regarding the qualification validation along with the certificate or document linked to this qualification.
