The create template functionality is achieved by following similar steps to the copy function, create template provides the ability to copy a previously created risk assessment and place it in a template format so that it can be used repeatedly.
1. Click on the Risk module from the side menu
2. Click on the Assessments tab
3. Select the Risk assessment that you wish to copy by clicking on its title
4. Click on the ‘Copy’ button, you are provided with three options.
5. Select the option of Create Template
6. Click on the ‘OK’ button
The Number increments to the next number within the Templates area, the title is pre-populated with the wording Copy of and the copied risk assessment title, this can be overtyped.
7. Amend any details as required (Number and title)
8. Choose the Risk Assessment Recurrence (One Off or Repeated)
9. Add a description if required
10. Click on the ‘Save button
Once saved the hazards from the risk assessment that has been copied are displayed. The ‘Play’ button allows you to view the consequences under each hazard and the numbering under the consequence column displays the number of consequences for that hazard.
Additional hazards can be added using the ‘+ Add’ button. Likewise additional consequences can be added to hazards, selecting the play button of the hazard, clicking on the ‘+ Add’ button within the consequences area and adding any additional consequences (if required).
The ‘Use’ button when pressed allows you to use this risk assessment template whilst the ‘Duplicate’ button allows you to create a duplication of the template.
The created template is available to use within the Templates tab, clicking on the ‘Use’ button allows you to start a new risk assessment based on the template.
