The copy function provides the ability to copy a previously created risk assessment.
1. Click on the Risk module from the side menu
2. Click on the Assessments tab
3. Select the Risk assessment that you wish to copy by clicking on its title
4. Click on the ‘Copy’ button, you are provided with three options.
Standard Copy – Copies the current version of the risk assessment, but without the risk evaluation
Full Copy – Copies the current version in its entirety
Create Template – The ability to create a template version of this risk assessment (see section *creating a Template)
5. Select one of the copy options (Standard Copy or Full Copy)
6. Click on the ‘OK’ button
In this scenario the option selected was Full Copy:
The Number increments to the next number within the assessments area, the title is pre-populated with the wording Copy of and the copied risk assessment title, this can be overtyped.
Finally, there is a system display to show where this risk assessment was copied from.
Simply amend any details as required, click on the ‘Save button.
The risk assessment is put into the state of In Progress.
To complete the process follow the same steps for creating a risk assessment to firstly evaluate the risk and then proceed to sign-off the risk via the Decision phase.
The copied risk assessment is viewable via the summary page on the Assessments tab.
