The modules of Safety, Compliance and Risk are linked within Centrik.
The Safety module captures reported incidents that occur within an organisation, allows for classification, investigation, and publication of safety cases.
The Compliance module allows organisations to perform checks or audits to ensure legislation, processes and or procedures are followed to limit any safety incidents via the creation of raising and managing findings.
The Risk module is an area where you are able to identify, assess and place a classification to risks through the creation of risk assessments, the identification of risks is a pro-active way of managing safety trying to mitigate hazards becoming a safety occurrence / incident. Centrik also allows for the reactive management of safety in the creation of risk assessments in direct relation to a safety case, and or compliance findings.
The Risk module (like other modules) can have a singular page for risk, or multiple tabs (sub-systems) enabled depending on the organisation.
Clicking on the Risk icon directs you to the risk landing page, there are different tabs used to segregate different areas of the module.
Dashboard tab:
Provides an overview of the Risk module including any tasks that you need to complete or tasks that you have assigned.
The dashboard like other dashboard modules can be rearranged / filtered to suit the user. This is achieved through the ‘Show settings’ button. Any tasks that you have been assigned will be shown via a graphical overview and a task list at the bottom of the screen
User filtering options via the ‘Show settings’ button and a filterable tasks list.
My assessments tab:
As the naming suggests this area is where any risk assessments that you have created, or you are reviewer of will be located.
If you have the necessary, access rights to create a risk assessment you can also perform that function via this tab through the ‘+ Add Risk Assessment’ button.
There is also a search area where you are able to search via an individual’s name any risk assessments they have created, or they are a reviewer of, entering their name in the Assessment For: box and clicking on the ‘Show’ button will display the results on the screen.
Templates tab:
The Templates area allows the ability to group several risk assessments into a method that is consistent in its approach and its content.
As an example, operating into a new aerodrome will have various risks associated with it, these will differ from aerodrome to aerodrome however most of the time the same risks will be present across all aerodromes.
What aircraft can the aerodrome accommodate? What is the Apron and stand configuration? What is the aerodrome infrastructure like and what facilities do they have for fuelling, aircraft cleaning, aircraft maintenance, etc.
In this scenario each identified area will have a risk assessment associated to it, the template function allows for these assessments to be grouped together and used again and again, additional risks can be added but the framework follows the same consistent process.
Assessments tab:
The main overview of where your risks are displayed and new risk assessments can be created (access right dependent), the number indicator on the assessments tab is the total number of draft and signed-off risks assessments, there are several filtering options alongside a search functionality on this page, other areas include an archive area and a download option.
The assessment summary is broken down into different column headings.
