After starting your checklist, the workflow will display an in-progress highlight. Within the Workflow steps area each section and the number of items it contains is displayed.
You can click each section individually to complete or click on the ‘View All Steps’ button to display all of sections and step items.
(Step 1.1 in the below example was marked as required, therefore it is becomes a mandatory step and is different in colour, The owner of the step is displayed alongside any ‘Due By’ dates relating to that step).
1. Click directly onto one of the ‘Do Step’ buttons against all items
2. Complete the Status area for each item marking it as Completed, Partially Completed, To Do, or Not Applicable. A comments box is available within each step should you wish to use it alongside the ability to add any actions to a step
Once completed the step s date stamped and stamped with the user’s details who completed the step, any actions are also displayed.
2. Complete the status of all steps and click on the ‘Save’ button.
3. Complete all section areas
4. Click on the ‘Complete’ button to complete the workflow
If any steps have not been completed a warning box will be displayed.
6. Click on the ‘OK’ button to confirm
Additional Notes - Step-by step with Assignment
if you selected a step-by step with assignment as the workflow style you can assign individuals, roles, or departments to a step for a specific instance of the workflow instead of the entire workflow template, it will not alter the workflow template itself, just this individual workflow. To do this.
- Select the workflow from the summary page or start the workflow from within the workflow itself
- Click on ‘Start Workflow’.
- Click on the required section.
- Click on the required step.
- Click on the ‘Edit’ button.
- Add in a user, a role, or a department in the User/Role box.
- Click on the ‘Save’ button.
