1. Click on the Workflows Module icon on the navigation menu side bar.
2. Click on the ‘Workflows’ button.
There are filtering options available to sort by organisation and department alongside a list of workflows within that subsystem.
Moving across the screen from left to right there are several column headings displayed.
No. - The number of the individual workflow (if can be numerical, alpha numeric or alphabetised)
Name – The name of the individual workflow
Organisation – The organisation that the workflow belongs to
Department – The department that the workflow belongs to
Done – the number of completed workflows
Next Due – The date this workflow is next due
Actions – under actions is the ‘Start’ button, here you can Start this type of workflow
View – View the selected workflow, this is the area where you can make any edits
Workflow – Details of an individual workflow of this type ‘In Progress’
Under the column marked Done is a number indicator, this denotes how many workflows of that type have been completed.
Where you see a ‘+’ indicator displayed on the screen it means that a workflow of that type in currently in progress.
Where you see a ‘+’ indicator displayed on the screen it means that a workflow of that type in currently in progress.
Workflow Name – the individual workflow naming
Started On – The date that the in-progress workflow was started
Due On – The date that this workflow is due to be completed
Status – The status of this individual workflow
Once a template of a workflow has been created you can initiate several individual workflows based on that template. Clicking on the ‘+’ button will display a list of all workflows of the same type alongside providing a summary of what stage they are currently at.
Workflows within Centrik have three styles.
All-in one (checklist) – a list of items, each item has its own status value.
Step by step – a step by step list, each section has its own status and actions area together with its own status value for each step.
Step by step with assignment – a step by step list but with the ability to allocate steps to users, roles, or departments.
Once a workflow has been created you are able to Copy it or move it.
Copy and Archive
You can copy or archive a workflow template by using the Archive button or the Copy button. Archive will place the workflow into an archived area whilst copying will allow you to copy your workflow to another subsystem (if using a multi subsystem site).
Move
You can move an individual instance of a workflow that is either in progress or completed by clicking on the ‘Move’ button and moving the workflow to different subsystem. If a single subsystem.
