1. Click on the Workflows module from the side menu
2. Select or lick the ‘Management of Change’ tab from Workflows landing page
3. Click on the ‘+ Start New Workflow’ button
4. From the popup box select the workflow definition that you wish to use and click on the ‘Start’ button
Alternatively, you can start a MOC workflow from the Workflow definition and clicking on the ‘Start Workflow’ button (as shown)
5. Type in a workflow title, a workflow due date (optional) alongside a workflow owner
6. Click on the ‘Save’ button
Any individual, Role or Department that have been allocated steps within the workflow will receive notification of the workflow starting. Only their steps will be visible to them through My workflow Steps tab.
The phases of the MOC can be seen on the right-hand side of the screen.
Change Proposal details can also be entered into the relevant section, clicking on that are or clicking on the ‘Edit’ button activates this area.
The workflow has started, and the status has been changed to In Progress, any dates will be calculated from the workflow due date, any owners for each step will be listed within the Owner area

7. Complete each step by clicking on the ‘Do Step’ button.
Clicking on the Do Step button displays any areas created within the template that need to be completed as part of the that step.
8. Enter in the required details within this step, add any actions (if required), add any attachments (if required)
9. Add any attachments if applicable to that step
10. If the step has been completed, click on the ‘Completed’ button, otherwise select one of the other available options from Partially Completed, To Do, Not Applicable, or Cancel
If completed that step is marked as completed by the individual clicking on the button within Centrik and date stamped
11. Complete the remaining steps within the phase.
12. When all steps have been completed, click on the ‘Sign off this phase’ button
A prompt box will appear detailing the steps within this phase.
13. Click on the ‘OK’ button.
If Phase by Phase sign-off was selected in the template, then you are only able to select the next phase after sign-off for the current phase has been completed. If you selected Release Steps All At Once you are able to select any phase at any time, however a phase will require sign-off in order for the sign-off area to be enabled within the next phase and so on.
If a step has been marked as Required or mandatory, then attempting to sign-off a phase without the step being completed will result in a system prompt advising sign-off is not possible.
As sign-off is completed and you move through the phases of the MOC you can visually see at what phase you have completed from the chevrons at the top of the page.
Available within all phases of the MOC is a Delete, Move, Stop, and download button
Delete – Deletes the MOC
Move – Allows you to move this MOC into another subsystem.
Stop – Allows you stop this MOC, this will remove it from your active MOC list and place it within the Completed workflows area (you are able re-activate from this area)
Download – Allows you to download the MOC in pdf format
All In Progress MOC workflows are displayed on the summary page of the Management of Change tab, all completed MOC Workflows are stored within the Show Completed Workflows button.
