Centrik can facilitate the creation of tags within each Centrik site (this is a configuration option). Tagging is used extensively throughout aviation to support policy, processes, legislation, regulation, and procedures.
Tagging provides the ability to.
- Create ‘virtual labels’ or ‘keywords’ and attach these to documents.
- Search for documents or groups of documents using ‘virtual labels’ or ‘keywords’.
- Create ‘Parent’ groups with sub ‘Children’ groups, creating a hierarchy of
items, these are viewable and searchable at each level.
Once a tag, or tags have been created within your site you are able to add these to your document. To do this simply click on the ‘tagging’ area and select the appropriate tag for this document.
Tagging is added after a document has been created (retrospectively)
