MRO Setup
Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul or MRO is a term commonly used in aviation to label a maintenance facility, whether as part of an airline, an aircraft maintenance unit, an aircraft maintenance facility, or a military facility. Safety requirements are stringent, and MRO within aviation is highly regulated.
Centrik allows the creation of MRO based qualifications and the production of a system generated license to Engineers. MRO qualifications usually take the form of prerequisite training taking place in order for an MRO qualification to be issued or revalidated.
MRO can be enabled on your site by Centrik, once enabled the qualifications and licensed areas can be configured by the organisation.
Qualifications for MRO are created in the same way as any other qualification.
1. Click on the Training module icon and select the subsystem (if multiple subsystems) where you want to create the qualification
2. Click on the ‘Setup’ button

As part of the MRO qualification an authorisations area can be created by Centrik and the qualification type set to MRO Authorisation.
The authorisations are configurable by the organisation and can be renamed to suit internal requirements.
Authorisations for MRO are created in the same way as any qualifications within Centrik apart from the addition of a specific MRO Skills Configuration area.
