1. From the training module landing page, click on the ‘Setup’ button
2. Click on the ‘Qualifications’ button
3. Select the area where the new qualification will sit by expanding the relevant section
4. Click on the ‘Add New Personal Qualification’ button (the button will take its naming convention from the area that it sits in, for this example it is within the Personal Qualification area)
5. Input a number for this new qualification (where it sits on the qualifications page), a Long name, a short name (optional).
6. Select if it is mandatory or add-on for all employees, or add-on for selected employees
7. Select if this qualification requires a skills check
8. Select if this qualification is part of an MRO Authorisation
9. Select who this qualification applies to, which aircraft it applies to, and if this qualification is to be shared to another subsystem (configuration option).
If the checkboxes for Ranks (or Roles (if configured)) and Types are left blank the system will apply this qualification to all Ranks, Roles, and Types, this means that any additional Ranks, Roles, or Types added to the site at a later stage will automatically have this qualification associated to them.
Applies to all example:
If an individual, or all checkboxes are selected it will only apply to that Rank, Role, or Type. If any additional Ranks, Roles, or Types are added after this qualification has been created and you want these new Ranks, Roles, or Types to be linked to this training, the qualification will need to be updated, or edited to include these additions.
Applies to specific Rank, and Type example:
To share with other subsystems, all applicable subsystems need to be selected.
10. Select the Revalidation method for this qualification, if a Check is selected as YES, an additional area (Individual Course Revalidation Method), and an area for a Checklist is created. A revalidation method of recording a document type can be selected allowing an individual to upload their own training (if configured)
11. Select from the available list what document is accepted for revalidation of this qualification
12. Select from the available this the validity period of this qualification, along with a revalidation period (if required), you can also choose if this qualification extends to month end by selecting the check box.
*Note - If revalidate by check was a YES
13. If you selected Revalidate by Check within the Revalidation section then you are able to add a checklist for this qualification into Centrik. Within the Checklists section, click on the ‘Add’ button
The Number and Name of this checklist is prepopulated, this can be amended if required within the available areas, there is an optional description box, and the ability to Allow Repeat and Retest checkbox. The qualification that this Applies to.. is also shown.
14. Click on the ‘Add’ button
15. Type in a section number, and a section title in the available boxes
16. Click on the ‘Save’ button
17. Click on the newly created Section title
18. Click on the ‘Add’ button within the Contents section
19. Enter in a Number, Title, any Instructions (optional), select a grade range from those available, and select if this item is mandatory or optional
20. Click on the ‘OK’ button
21. Continue adding items as necessary
