UAV equipment is created in a similar way as any other equipment within Centrik. There is however a small difference, the equipment module is linked closely with the tasking module so in the equipment creation that needs to be reflected.
When creating a Class of equipment there are two columns available for selection.
Task – This equipment can be used for tasking
Mountable – This equipment can be mounted, or connected to another piece of equipment
One or both boxes need to be checked to use this equipment within the tasking module.
1. Click the ‘Edit’ button can be used to put the page in an editable state
2. Select the required checkbox, or checkboxes
3. Click on the ‘Save’ button
Once a class has been created the following area within that class needs to be checked.
1. Click on the class equipment (the class is highlighted gold)
2. Navigate to the Categories section
3. Click on the ‘Edit’ button
4. Tick the checkbox for ‘UAS Component’
5. Click on the ‘Save’ button
If you want this equipment class to be recorded/logged for each pilot, then the following within the class area needs to be selected.
Once the class checkboxes have been completed and if mountables has been selected, an additional area of configuration appears within the Equipment Type.
To configure this.
1. Click on the ‘Edit Types’ button
2. From the summary overview page select which equipment type you wish to edit
3. Navigate to the Mountables section
4. Click on the ‘Add’ button
5. Select the equipment class that you wish to link to this type of equipment
6. Select a piece of equipment from the selectable options
7. Click on the ‘Save’ button
Adding additional mountable equipment or editing existing moutntables can be actioned through the ‘Select..’ button
1. Click on the ‘Select..’ button
2. Check / uncheck the required boxes
3. Click on the ‘Save’ button
