Start - Prepare Checklists
Once your checklists have been created you are able to start your audit. You are able to start an audit from the main summary screen by selecting the ‘Start’ button. If an audit is already underway this button will show as ‘Continue’ allowing you to continue with that current audit.
Alternatively, you can start an audit from within the checklist itself, this will allow you to run multiple audits of the same checklist.
1. Click on the checklist name from the checklist summary screen
2. At the bottom of the page click on the ‘Start’ button
3. You have the ability to edit the audit number and audit name if required as well as adding in or adjusting the ‘Audit Due On’ date and ‘Started On’ date
4. If configured you can alert the auditee of the upcoming audit by selecting the ‘+ Select Contacts’ button within the Audit Subject area.
5. Click on the ‘Save’ button.
Conduct Audit
Due to the fact that the date for this audit was set at ‘Audit Due On’ my audit will state ‘Due’. If I had started the audit today it would show ‘In Progress’ as its status.
1. Click on the Conduct Audit phase at the top of the screen
2. Clicking on the ‘Edit’ button I am able to add additional auditors (if configured) as well as add in a contact to notify when the audit has been completed.
There is a section that contains the details of my checks as well as a sections overview. The below example is an editable/extendable checklist which allows me to add additional sections through the ‘Add a Section’ button.
I can select each section on its own or alternatively click on the ‘View All Items’ button which will display my entire checklist items.
3. Select a section (or view all)
4. When a section (or all sections) is shown, click on the ‘Edit’ button
5. Give each section a score against its compliance by using the dropdown list
6. Continue working through each section
7. Click on the ‘Save’ button when completed
