We're pleased to announce the latest updates to the Tech Log suite of products. A number of the following updates are upcoming and should be live by 25th April 2023, but we wanted to let you know what to expect ahead of time!

 
Global Enhancements

Fleet / Tail Numbers

For operators that prefer to show the fleet / tail numbers over the aircraft registrations, these can now be added within the aircraft settings of the Web Dashboard. The fleet / tail numbers will then show as the primary aircraft distinguisher when selecting the aircraft on both the Web Dashboard and iPad Application, with the registration moving to a second line. If you do not wish to add any fleet / tail numbers, there will be no difference in the interface.

Resolution for Maintenance Procedures

Previously when a defect was created with an associated maintenance item, the item to be resolved was not always evident within the CRS flow. The interface has now been updated to highlight when a maintenance procedure is required for a reported defect. Resolving the defect will now also remove any unresolved, associated maintenance items if this has been signed off. Further information on this feature can be viewed on our Help Desk.

Customisable Deferral Options

Deferral options can now be configured per operator, allowing you to remove or rename options to match your operational procedures. Please contact support to have changes made to your account.

 
Web Dashboard Release

New Features

• The aircraft settings page has been expanded to offer a wide range of new settings and customisations available per aircraft. A number of these settings will be visible and editable by admin users only, however these will impact all users that have access to that particular aircraft and will be present on both the Web Dashboard and iPad Application, allowing you to try new options and configure your aircraft without needing to contact support.

Enhancements

• Enhancements have been made behind the scenes on the Trips page to improve the loading speed.

Bug Fixes

• An issue where the Journey Log was not opening on the Trip drawer has now been resolved.

 
iPad Application Release

Most of our iPad Application updates were mentioned in our global enhancements. Some smaller items are listed below.

Enhancements

• The ability to add an attachment after completing a trip has been added, without the requirement to unlock or re-sign the record.
• Attachments can also now be added within a fault (Defect or Intermittent Fault) summary page.
• Cards on the maintenance tab are now scrollable to allow for full visibly of details reported.
